Container Skyhouse
The Container Skyhouse is a luxurious off-grid retreat, perched on pillars along the banks of the Wilge River. This stunning unit sleeps 8 guests, featuring two spacious bedrooms with double beds, along with two sleeper couches that each accommodate two people. The entire house is encased in glass, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The unit is equipped with a solar system and fresh borehole water, ensuring sustainability and comfort. A large bathroom adds convenience, while a charming boma and firewood geyser provide warmth and a unique atmosphere. The Skyhouse's elevated deck offers a perfect vantage point, overlooking the river and allowing guests to enjoy the sounds of the constant stream nearby. In the evenings, guests can unwind under the stars, taking a relaxing hot bath, looking at the milky way while soaking in the tranquility of nature. Caravan also available for overflow guest allowing up to 12 people to stay here.

Fully equipped kitchen with 4 plate gas stove, microwave, fridge & freezer, cutlery, milk frother, pans, pots and more.
BEDS
Double beds in each room with bedding and 2 sleeper couches in the living room with pillows and bedding. Extra blankets and clothes racks in each room.
BRAAI
Outdoor braai area and Boma. Some firewood is provided but it is recommended to bring your own. Firewood Geyser (Donkey) is in use. Bring own firelighters
BATHROOM
One full bathroom with shower, bath and toilet.

Vodacom has the best coverage on the farm and get great speeds. Remote working is possible if you have a Vodacom sim. Other networks have low to no reception in some parts of the farm

We recommend not bringing small children along as the unit is built up high from the ground with openings in railings, but if you do, please make sure you have your child with you at all times as it is a dangerous place for children.

There is no swimming pool but you can swim in the calm parts of the river at own risk

You are allowed to explore the whole farm on foot or bicycle. Just please close any gate that was closed before to ensure cows to not move into areas or mix.

Experience luxury tented living in the heart of a Poppelier forest, right next to the tranquil Wilge River. Our spacious tents feature two large rooms, each with a comfortable double bed, and a separate bathroom with a shower and toilet. A separate kitchen tent is equipped with a four-plate gas stove, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature. Enjoy the perfect blend of comfort and wilderness, all set in a stunning, serene location. There is no electricity but solar lights are installed. Sleeps 6 but caravan can be provided allowing for up to 10 guests to stay here.
